The staff and management at the Vernon Hills store were very customer focused and the whole process was wonderful. Rainbow stands behind their warranty, even after 16 years. The install was scheduled in advance and the team arrived on time, completed the work in under 4 hours, cleaned up everything and our set is pretty close to brand new! They shipped the parts to the Vernon Hills store for free and I had to pay only for installation of the new parts. ![]() After having done that and providing pictures of our set, the corporate office approved a warranty replacement of about half of our whole set, everything that needed to be fixed up. When I called the Vernon Hills store to ask about quoting how much it would cost in parts and labor to fix it, they directed me to file a warranty claim on the corporate website. The crows nest and decks fell into disrepair and needed replacement after a hard winter even after having re-stained the whole system pretty much annually. Our children and their friends used our 3 swing, 2 deck, slide and crows nest playset from ages 6 and 10 through current. Rainbow Play Systems of Illinois in Vernon Hills and the Rainbow Corporate Office provided outstanding service this year (2023) on our play set which we purchased in 2007. I have 4 children and they will have children I would not recommend they purchase from a different company. They only care about the purchase and then do not even try to accommodate the existing customers. ![]() I would recommend people look for different play systems that truly keep away bees and that actually stand by their play systems for repair and services. I am now facing another season that the playground will not be used because of the customer service issues with this company. I started this endeavor almost 2 years ago. As it has been a very long time that is turning out to be impossible. ![]() They did not want to do that because they said a lot of the pieces were to expensive to replace an I will want exercise my warrant instead and should find the proof of purchase through other means e.g. That is fine I asked to have someone come out and evaluate the fixes for a price. They won't let me exercise the warranty without it. We have called to try to exercise the warranty but my original receipt has faded. The system has aged it has been properly taken care of but a lot of the wood along the bottom has deteriorated and plastic coating on the metal parts has molded. My kids were terrified of them and it would take them weeks to start using it again.
